The members of the Alliance care about you. We want you working, growing
and remembering how to make it work for you.
Our mission statement is: The Alliance exists to develop and promote
Central Texas area actors and to ensure continued use of Austin for TV and
Film.
This is how The Bottom Line works: Once a week or so, we are going to post
some suggestions to you. These suggestions come from members of the
Alliance: talent agents, coaches and casting directors who hope to share
their thoughts with you in order to continue helping you achieve your goals.
We want to congratulate all the actors who have been booked. The agents are
going to let us know about you so that we can post various names/roles and
give you the kudos you so richly deserve. Keep up the good work!
* If you do not currently have an agent, you may visit
www.theallianceaustin.com
and read the section regarding submitting. You may also visit individual
agencies' websites to see how they want you to submit.
* Ask your agent if he/she prefers you to call or email the office when you
have questions, are checking in or booking out.
* You may wish to consider carrying additional headshots and resumes with
you. You never know when opportunity may knock!
* Last minute schedule changes are a hassle for all of us. Be sure and
check your email and/or voicemail before leaving for that next audition.
* If you are unavailable to attend a class, please inform your coach and
scene partner. They are counting on you.
If you have comments or suggestions, feel free to email us at:

Best of luck on that next audition!
